My Dream Garden

Gardens, they're a gateway to nature. The lovely chirping of the birds, sweet smelling frangrance of the flowers, the serenity one experiences while walking as the pathway unwinds, peace filling the inner self...that's the true essence of a garden.

Today I'm at the Happy Little stampers Mixed Media Blog with my first post for Mixed Media Project on the theme Garden.

Here's the snippet of the making of my Dream Garden...
On a canvas board, with TCW Mini Organic Matter stencil and modelling paste, created the pathway. With TCW Aspen Trees stencil and modelling paste, added trees to make it look realistic on the background. With Texture Paste White Sand, gave the ground effect all over and let it dry.

In the meantime, I die cut the gate and heat it with Versamark ink and Ranger Liquid Platinum.

I recently bought a few wooden embellishments. This garden chair actually was the reason why i created this mixed media work. Heat set a garden Chair wooden embellishment with Zing black embossing powder.

Created Bushes on a white card stock with Art alchemy acrylic paints and  cut it out.

Took Lindy's drop Dead diva Gorgeous Green spray for the greenery effect.

Coloured the pathway with Distress ink Vintage photo.

Pasted real natural pine leaves and small pebble chips on either side of the pathway.

Coloured the branch with the birds using Acrylic paints.

Using Tacky glue, pasted all the elements to the canvas. Added the Flowers, leaves, diecut birds and finally the Prima Art stones.

And... there you go... My Dream Garden is ready.

Looking forward to your participation. Good Luck!!!

I'm linking my project to the following challenges.
